I am proud to report that a student who I have both taught and mentored, Molly H. Adams, has won top honors for both her exceptional academic work and the production of an exemplary thesis. Along with Peter Nekola of the Department of Social Sciences and Cultural Studies, I mentored Molly throughout this academic year as she developed her senior thesis project. Her project, “Communicating Interdependence: Ecological Thinking and the Natural History Museum, won the Senior Thesis Award from the Critical and Visual Studies program.

Molly has diverse interests in the areas museum design, art and science education, and ecological sustainability; I am excited to see how she uses her many talents to pursue these interests.
